Babar Has Landed

Babar Azam, the big-name signing, is now in Sydney! He’s getting ready for the Sydney Sixers’ first BBL game against the Perth Scorchers this Sunday in Perth.
His arrival is a huge deal, creating buzz online from his many fans. After a long trip from Pakistan, Babar landed in Sydney, ready to put on the Sixers’ Magenta kit for the first time this weekend.
Right after arriving, Babar said he’s excited to start his BBL time in Perth: “I am looking forward to playing over there in Perth – the faster wicket over there.”
To welcome him, the Sixers made a special fan area at the SCG called Babaristan. It will be there for every Sydney home game this season. This area is for supporters and fans wanting to see the energy Babar brings.
Sydney Sixers General Manager Rachael Haynes said she’s happy to have the batter at the club.

Everyone wants to be there! Babaristan is sold out for the December 17th home game. But fans can still get seats for the other Sixers home games.
